Introduction	I am currently in my final year of sixth form at QES, Kirkby Lonsdale. I am studying Textiles, English Language and Religious Studies at A2, and looking forward to pursuing a career in Textiles. Not only have I enjoyed studying this subject at school, but I have also enjoyed continuing my personal exploration of textiles during my free time. Since year 7 I have been an active member of a club with the intention to help me build upon my skills in textiles by learning from others and creating my own ideas. With help from other sixth formers I now have control of this club. This gives me the opportunity to design and make my own products whilst helping my peers do the same with their creations. I am currently learning to play piano; I believe this to be an excellent example of my motivation and focus. The work I have submitted is ranged from artist copies to my own ideas. There is also a mixture of research, development and ideas in there too. I am incredibly interested and excited about this course at Manchester School of Art as I believe it is the perfect place to develop and build upon my skills whilst seeing where my creations and enthusiasm can take me.
