Introduction	I grew up in Southern California, surrounded by a love of teaching and learning, thanks to my parents’ careers in education. At 21, I traveled to Santa Cruz, Bolivia to serve as a missionary for my church. After earning my degree in Bilingual Education from BYU, I returned to Santa Cruz to teach 3rd grade at the Santa Cruz Cooperative School (American School). I continued teaching for 37 years in Spanish Immersion, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and as a Reading Intervention specialist. I have been happily married for 44 years and am the proud mother of four adult children, as well as grandmother to seven granddaughters and four grandsons. Now retired from teaching, I enjoy sharing my passions for health and wellness.
