| Introduction | Ever since childhood, I have been fascinated by all things rhythmic. At the age of 18, I finally embarked on a journey to fulfil my lifelong passion for music, releasing my fusion composition album Night in Bengal in 2002. My love for the one-string Ektara and Tabla inspired the album Night in Bengal, featuring lyrics and a musical theme in Nishiraath and Dim-ta-nana Nana in Raga Malkauns, shaped by my encounter with an extraterrestrial light in 1993. I composed Dere Dere Chal in the blues scale, with both lyrics and composition crafted by me while performing Guru in the Raga Darbari scale. Beyond this album, I continue to compose and write music. In total, I have released five albums and composed music for short films. Music, like laughter and tears, is a universal language—a bridge that connects humanity in its quest for oneness: one God, one man, one music. The mystical tradition of Sufi Sama music profoundly influences me, drawing me into the essence of rhythm. I strive to connect rhythm with the human heartbeat, aligning my compositions with the natural pulse of life. Through this, I aim to embrace mysticism and dedicate my musical journey to the service of humanity. |
| Interests | I enjoy reading books and exploring history during my downtime, as well as writing short plays and books. Spending quality time with friends and family is something I cherish. I'm also passionate about music, with a keen interest in composition and performance. |
