| Introduction | The Sydney Monopoly Pub run 2011 takes into account 26 pubs throughout Sydney. The Route The route encompasses 26 streets and stations. This attempts to replicate the Monopoly board, leaving out the Electric Company, Water Works etc. The route encompasses pubs from a varied cross section, and unlike in London where it is necessary to use public transport it is possible to walk the entire route in a reasonably quick time (12 hours or so including drinks and food). Last year the run took 10 hours and was started with 25 and finished with 31, peaking at 50+ through the mid section, which made for a good crowd. The route for 2011 is: 1 - Forbes Hotel 2 - CBD (York 75) 3 - PJ O'briens 4 - Cargo Bar 5 - James Squires Brewhouse 6 - Wynyard Hotel 7 - The Occidental 8 - The Captain Cook (The Rocks) 9 - The Lord Nelson 10 - Hero Of Waterloo 11 - The Australian Hotel 12 - The Glenmore 13 - The Harbour View Hotel 14 - The Mercantile 15 - The Observer 16 - Fortune Of War 17 - Ship Inn 18 - Metro Hotel 19 - Grand Hotel 20 - Royal George Hotel 21 - Angel Bar 22 - Bar 333 23 - The Grasshopper 24 - Hotel Sweeney's 25 - Criterion Hotel 26 - The Edinburgh Castle Hotel |
