| Introduction | I am an educator and communication specialist who is passionate about and fascinated by schooling in America today; how it’s changing, why it’s changing, and how I can play a role in advancing the progress of schools and success of students. My experience in marketing/communications has enhanced my success as an educational administrator and project manager. A solid background in educational research, teacher professional development and school administration has enabled me to take on difficult issues facing education today. I have experience and enjoy working with faculty to develop and refine curriculum and teaching strategies that foster depth of knowledge, critical analysis and creative problem solving. I work with faculty from across segments to help align curriculum from high school to college. I also with work students and the business community to help students prepare for careers by way of internships, coursework, and assessment. |
