Introduction	I see myself as an educator trying to motivate my students to challenge themselves to think critically, take ownership of their education by doing work outside of the class, questioning and creating arguments based on evidence, and to reinstall the luster of academia in this world because being smart is a damned good thing!
Interests	History, politics (political issues). Sports, especially baseball, soccer (viva World Cup!), and football. Watching these on TV of course.
Favorite movies	Action, suspense movies.
