| Introduction | I spend my days watdhing my three amazing kids (AKA the Ruffertons, ages 1,2,4) learn and grow and attempt to seriously injure one another. Every day I make time to create something. Usually I'm working on fun and funky hand knit originals. Some days, though, I just have to make something delicious!My current favorites are fudge, cupcakes, banana bread, and english muffins. Ruffertons 1 & 2 love to cook with me. I can't wait to teach them to knit! I love to knit things that make people smile. It has been so fun to see my family and friends enjoy my creations over the years, I finally deciced to share them with the world- and PinkAndGreenChick was born! It's rare for me to knit from a pattern or to write a pattern. Knitting is my art form and each piece I create is special. Natural fiber yarns and organic cotton stuffing are my favorite materials. I do have a stash of acrylic yarns to use up, so those make it into my work periodically. Recently, I learned of guerilla knitting and I can't wait to start spreading the love in Seattle! |
