Introduction	Its long, sorry. Small town boy that knows too much, wish I had my head in the sand in fourways some place, but I don't. Or Canada. Shit, I'm tired about hearing how wonderful Canada is. Good for them. I know all about my country's past, similar messes across the planet but I'm in love with South Africa now. Our issues are the world's issues. To live a good life here's a blessing, as is not getting shot I guess. My forefathers left Sweden/Scotland/Spain more than 300 years ago, cause it was kak there. So I am African, deeply, more than most Americans are American, or Australians Australian, if time and generations are a measure. Who am I to undo life times of their adventure and move back? Stuff that. I've done my time in the states/UK/Philippines/Thailand and others. And they're all wonderful and terrible depending where you happen to be sleeping, how rich or poor you happen to be. I still prefer South Africa. I have an immigrant mate who teases me for these burdens. He looks forward to the day he phones me in the throws of some SA revolution, dodging bullets, and he'll be off watch a broadway show, wishing me well. Won't happen, but I see his point...
