| Introduction | I am a student majoring in journalism at the University of South Florida in Tampa. I will graduate with my B.A. in May 2011. I am also an Army wife, and have been married to Staff Sgt. Ryan Smith since Nov. 2008. I would like to become a magazine feature writer who also takes her own photographs. Currently I work as a marketing assistant for DNA Vertical, Inc., writing blog posts and keeping up with social media. My other interest is orca whales; I've wanted to work with them my entire life and hope to transition eventually into some sort of career involving them. I am also a budding amateur photographer.
