| Introduction | I'm just starting my four new small businesses after moving to San Diego CA from Austin TX, where I was a licensed massage therapist for 12 years. In Texas I owned a very successful massage business with over 600 clients and I also received my massage therapy instructors license (M.T.I.) and also received my license to be a continuing education provider (C.E.P.) for massage therapists. In moving back to California, I received registration as a Certified Massage Therapist (C.M.T.) by the state of California. Prior to Texas I was a C.M.T. in California, but subject to city permits to practice massage. The new state certification eliminates this requirement to obtain permits in each city I might practice massage. After reaching San Diego I went back to school to become a state certified nutritionist consultant (C.N.C.). at Natural Healing Institute, a state accredited school for nutritional certification. I am pleased to now practice Orthomolecular Nutrition, which utilizes food, vitamins, minerals, and other supplements that can benefit many medical and psychological conditions, and very complimentary to standard medical treatments. |
