| Introduction | I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern, employed and supervised by Sheila Longerbeam, MFT #27856, with an office located in the Piedmont district of Oakland, CA. I provide depth-oriented psychotherapy to folks with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal problems, questions of sexual identity, confusion around vocation and life purpose, and more. Although I have a diverse practice, my specialties include: (1) Working from a depth perspective to help people reconnect with Self; (2) Helping women stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns with men; (3) Working with gay men to overcome loneliness; (4) Helping survivors of trauma feel whole again through using a highly effective, biology-based method; (5) Working with LGBTQ youth around issues of identity, isolation, family and peer relationships; and (6) Helping those living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses create a rich, meaningful and fulfilling life. My practice is open and welcoming to people from all walks of life. For more information, visit my web site at www.eastbaytherapy.org. |
