| Introduction | After Chris taught at a suburban Seattle district for 17 years and Richard for 5 (in the same building), they were targeted, along with several other "senior" educators, by the principal and office manager. Five or six outstanding "senior" staff members, many recognized statewide for their accomplishments, were bullied also; other teachers were frozen in their tracks: "If they can do that to YOU, what can they do to ME?" While they eventually had the satisfaction of taking down the principal and office manager as they left, it was little solice for the three-year experience and $800K in lost wages, pensions, and health care. |
