| Introduction | Lura Jones Andrews grew up in this same central Illinois area. She learned to sew alongside her sisters, Carolyn and Shirley from their mother, Blanche. She taught her daughter, Nancy to sew in the 1940's and 50's. Nancy is the founder of our little group. She has taught neighbors and friends, her daughters and now her granddaughters to love sewing and continues to school all of us in the fine art of quilting. These are our stories and our quilts... |
