| Introduction | After a 15 year digital media career, I got tired of flying chrome logos and adding lens flares, so I got into digital moviemaking using high definition (and now 4K) moviemaking tools. I've been writing hdforindies.com for over 3 years now, and consult on projects in the areas of camera & format selection, workflow, post, and related areas. I've written for DV & High Definition magazines, spoken at NAB, Sundance, Austin Film Festival and SXSW (10+ yrs @ SXSW), worked for vendors @ NAB & IBC, etc. My consulting clients have had their projects shown at SXSW, Sundance, and other festivals as well as picked up for theatrical distribution. |
