My blogs
| Introduction | :::Personal::: I was born and raised in Provo, Utah--highest national consumption of Jello and anti-depressents (maintains a low crime rate and 'happy valley' facade).
Currently living in lovely Logan, UT. with wife and kids.
:::Education::: Psychology and philosophy at Brigham Young University. Currently a graduate student in journalism at Utah State University. My project is all about re-vitalizing our citizenry through civic engagement and citizen journalism. This will culminate in a website catering to the political needs, wants and wishes of Cache Valley residents. :::Work::: Mostly in the activism/non-profit sector. As the Utah State Coordinator for Amnesty International, helped educate/recruit residents of Salt Lake City. But the most exhausting work is raising my toddlers! :::Stuff::: I'm not much of a believer in "objective" journalism. I believe in fair, accurate, and honest journalism. Journalism should spur communication between citizens and government rather than providing a one-way conduit, spewing out episodic information to be 'consumed' by readers. |
