| Introduction | Mr Rameshwar Singh Pande (Rashi Pande/ राशि पाण्डे is a Nepali professional in the field of livestock/agricultural interventions; born in 26th Nov (23 Chait BS). Mr Pande holds M Agr Sc (Honours), Massey University, New Zealand, 1990 and B Sc Ag, IAAS, Tribhuvan University, Nepal (1980). Mr Pande has a sound track record of over 30 years under Government of Nepal at Senior level, and as a consultant to various International Organizations inclusive. Mr. Pande’s major contribution is on forage, pasture, rangeland research and development. He has authored two books (a. Fodder and Pasture Development in Nepal. URDS Pvt. Ltd, Nepal, 1997 and b.‘Livestock Feeds and Grassland Development in Nepal (Nepali)’, National Forage and Grassland Research Centre, Kathmandu, Nepal, 1994); about 20 research/review papers and over 100 extension materials has been published. The author also writes poems and stories under pen name 'Rashi Pande'. |
