| Introduction | Mavis Del Pesco is LA Private Trainers Co-Owner and CFO. She was born and raised in Montreal Canada and moved to Los Angeles in 1992. She was schooled in Economics in Canada. She opened her first company at age 21 and has always been an "outside the box" thinker and creator. She hired LAPT at age 26 after several failed attempts to exercise to reduce stress. Exercising as a client with LAPT gave her a perspective of how important personal training would become as the population aged. She was so impressed with the vision of the founder, she left a career in Corporate America and joined LAPT in 1992. Since then she has become certified as a Lifestyle and Weight Management counselor with the American Council on Exercise. She is emphatic about the vision of health and prevention in America. |
