Introduction	Ryan Yung is currently a PhD Candidate in Griffith University’s Department of Tourism, Sport and Hotel Management. Since completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management in Taylor’s University, Malaysia, he has lived in Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, and now Australia, working in various capacities in hospitality and copywriting. In addition to being a student, Ryan is also a research assistant and sessional staff for Griffith Business School. His research interests are on technology in tourism, with a focus on virtual reality and augmented reality, as well as tourists’ behaviour.
