Introduction	I am a transplanted northeasterner, horrified, intrigued, and amused almost daily by events here in my adopted hometown. Say what you will about someone being an uppity, quasi-middle class, liberal from New Jersey going on about,"Umm, no. I am Indianapolisan, not a Hoosier." I dare you to spend 24 hours outside of Marion County, outside of a college-town, and tell me some more about my uppity attitude. Hell, if all you have is a 4 hour layover, take a cab down to Decatur Township for a look-see. So enjoy the musings of an amateur cultural anthropologist in a strange land. Or don't. Whatever.
