| Introduction | Vikram is no technophile, but he is well aware of the impact of technology on himself and on those internationally. Growing up in three different continents, Vikram has witnessed our growing technological world first hand. From seeing newly installed computers in a school in Thailand or watching schoolchildren take cell-phone pictures at a Buddhist monastery in Korea to playing the casual Nintendo Wii in his dormitory in Durham, North Carolina, Vikram knows that modern technology is very much a part of everyone’s lives. Familiarity and usage of technology is so widespread, that our definition of “technology geek” must be reevaluated. Technology allows us to capitalize on our innovation, and as much as we drive technology, technology drives us. |
