Introduction A long time modeler & earned the nickname NightOwl staying up WAY too late. Starting his modeling at age 3 and his family supported these early interests. The Hill Family joined the PB&W club in the Del Mar Fairgrounds a year or two later. It was there he found operations night a favorite. His early tweens included all sorts of scale models, even scratch building 1/700th sailing ships an inch long, he moved back to HO scale by age 15. His highschool job was at the local hobby shop before going to college. Joinied the LMRC became involved with historical reenactment of operations and growing in skills: construction & mechanical of rolling stock, wiring, track work & hand-laid switches. AS in CAD/CAM at SDCCD in 2005. In 2011 the Hill family started OwlMtModels, producing HO-scale kits. Life-event-changes in 2019, the regular trips to San Diego came to an end after 25 years with LMRC. He continuing to take care of family commitments, work, and building a layout of the SP's Jawbone Branch.
