Introduction	I'm a wife and mother attempting to get a little creative writing done in her spare time. I grew up wanting to be an accountant. Ever known a kid who decides at the tender age of 12 that her future is in accounting? Yeah, that was me. Now don't get me wrong - I became an accountant, and it definitely pays the bills, but along the way I discovered how much I love to write. Now the accountant in me won't let go of the day job. Oh, how the universe is laughing at me. In 2005, we had a little girl that we adore, and because we live far away from most of our family and friends, she inspired me to email regularly to keep them updated on her adventures. Thus, the Helen Update was born. Eventually, I decided it was time to go online and torture countless others with stories of our family. Then came 2 more little girls, and while the free time has become far more limited, I never lack for material. Thank you all for reading! Comments are welcome.
