Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I have a long and graceful swan's neck. I enjoy displaying it so long as people enjoy seeing it. But if someone wasn't cool with my neck I'd like to think I'd cover it for their benefit. Unless they were jerks about it...
