Introduction	I began designing jumpers for my little girls (I have 2 boys as well) when I was unable to find knitting patterns with feminine shaping in 8ply yarn. I have studied Art and Design at The University of Ballarat as well as beginning the Fashion Design course(not completed due to having my first child). I approach the design of knitwear in a similar way to designing sewing patterns. The shaping in mini mae knitwear is similar to that of garments made from fabric, with darts and gathering etc. I hope you enjoy creating a mini mae knitwear garment, as much as I do designing them!
