| Introduction | David Ephgrave is an actor, musician and comic, and back end of Doggett & Ephgrave. He recently featured in The Times, Telegraph, Comedy Central, i Newspaper, Scotsman and Edinburgh Evening News best jokes lists. D&E's credits include 11 seasons with The Comedy Project (Soho Theatre), various Fringe shows in Edinburgh, Brighton, Camden & Leicester, plus Mostly Comedy, their popular monthly club in Hitchin. In 2013, they performed an episode of their sitcom Nick & Joe at the Soho Theatre alongside a cast including Michael Barrymore and Norman Lovett. Solo credits include playing John Lennon/Paul McCartney in The Roy Orbison Story (UK tour), Buddy in Buddy Holly and the Cricketers (UK/Ireland) and Richard in Dreamboats and Petticoats (West End). He took his first solo show, ‘…and Ephgrave’, to the 2015 Brighton and Camden Fringe, his second, Mostly David Ephgrave, to Brighton and Edinburgh in 2016, his third and fourth, Now Who’s a Comedian? and David Ephgrave: My Part in His Downfall, to Edinburgh in 2017 & 2018 – and his fifth, Good Grief, to Edinburgh in 2022. He co-hosts two podcasts: More Than Mostly Comedy and The McCartney McAlphabet. |
