Introduction I have been cooking for as long as I can remember with my mother and grandmother. I don't think my grandmother ever followed a recipe. Most of what she made was from memory. If she did have a recipe, she rarely used measuring cups or spoons. Both of them collected cookbooks, most of which I have inherited or bought myself a copy. I open them and use them as guides. I hate making meal plans and hate grocery shopping. So, when I shop, I stock the freezer and cabinets with the basics that I use everyday and whatever is on sale. When I open a cook book, rarely do I have all the ingredients, so I enjoy coming up with delicious creative solutions. This blog was created to track the recipe modifications to my favorite recipes and to come up with leftover ideas. I always make WAY TOO MUCH food. You never know who might surprise you with a visit!
