Introduction	I am a metalsmith artist who creates contemporary hand made one-of-a-kind jewelry combining precious metals, and non precious materials. I also work with an impressive range of gemstones and minerals. (Sapphires, Topaz, Rubies, Peridot, Opals, Emeralds, Apatite, Chrome Diopside, Tourmalines of all colors, Tanzanite, Garnets, Fossilized Palmwood, Agates, Turquoise, Jaspers…. And the list goes on…) My passion is putting different stones together and experimenting with blending a remarkable variety of textures, colors, and shape combinations until the piece speaks to me. Everything is forged, hand-fabricated and hand-textured. For this, I use all kinds of hand tools, hammers and torches. It’s a matter of control and knowing how far to take the metal.
