| Introduction | Sucker.band@yahoo.com SUCKER is Sexy, Wild Rock and Roll founded by Candi Vee (bass and lead vocals, composition) hailing from Scranton, PA. Sucker officially released its first full length album on March 15, 2013. Sucker’s sound, “the perfect bridge between old-school, safety-pin-through-the-cheek punk attitude and ballsy heavy metal assault", is best described as a modern take on 70s and 80s hard rock and pop rock. The music features speedy, intricate drums, riffy, often frenetic, guitar and bass lines and infectious pop melody. “I like to make music I would want to hear on a night out. Rock and roll is a lifestyle. It’s very hedonistic and I like to reflect that in my music,” says Candi Vee when asked to describe her music and motivation. Sucker is currently playing shows in Pennsylvania, New York City and New Jersey to promote the album release and is in the beginning stages of writing and recording a new EP.
