| Introduction | I was born in 1940 near London. The Battle of Britain was raging and my Father was a flying instructor whose mind finally gave up trying to cope with the horrific responsibility of sending away pilots without adequate training. Why anyone would bring a child into this mayhem was never answered in the family but it left me with no wish to have children. I returned to family roots in Cornwall and after a few years of running my own business I decided to sail my 28 Ft Gaff Cutter across the Atlantic to the USA. Later I sailed yachts for others and visited many interesting places in the world. I eventually returned to join my brother in a Cornish Tin Casting business. I met Sue in 1996 and we married in Gibraltr in 1999. We live in Falmouth, Cornwall, and my hobbies have been cartooning and playing Cornet in New Orleans Jazz Bands. |
