Introduction	This blog was created for my U.S. Government class in which I hope to be informed and enlightened on the operation and establishment of our nation's government. I've always considered myself quite conservative; the political ideology classifies me as "upbeat", which read roughly adequate. I have not yet had the opportunity to vote in an election, however, was granted the experience to spend last summer in D.C. interning for a democratic congressman in the House of Representative where I was exposed to many aspects of the inner-workings of the capitol and attend a few press conferences and hearings. I hope by taking this course to become more politically profound and knowledgeable of our national state.
