| Introduction | This is “I” – Born in South Africa Rivaaj, is an artist now living and working in Dublin as a painter, illustrator and graphic designer. With influences from a barrage of cultures, from a traditional Indian heritage with its explosion of color to the rich blend of local and African cultures and the influence of ancient Chinese technic of Feng Shui, All this wrapped up leaned to my kaleidoscope eyes. Add in the desire and passion for the art world, which gave him the drive to create such powerful Original works. Sketches often precede Rivaaj’s paintings. Later stages of the work are completed with an intuitive sense of color and subject, exploring notions of channeling the divine or the subconscious. Often, meditation is included in the process to investigate the sense of self within the work and to allow for a clearer understanding of color and subject |
