Introduction	I used to work at a small art college in Delaware when I set up this blog. Since then I have worked at several nonprofits, but in 2017 I decided to become a teacher. A middle school teacher. A science teacher. A middle school science teacher in a location that needs many teachers who are loving and firm and creative and compassionate. Two months ago, I realized I was ADHD. Not lazy. Not flighty. Yes, a procrastinator and yes, hyper-focused. Good in a crisis, lacking some executive functions, but willing to jump in whenever. Prone to isolate and ignore friends, but thinking about them every day. I grew up in Indiana near Chicago, but have lived in many different places. I have a diverse background that lets me see things from many different perspectives. Theatre, music, writing, softball, cook, wife, mother, daughter, sister, artistic, calligrapher, painter, teacher, student, department head, republican, democrat, independent, instigator, faithful and spiritual. I am constantly curious and constantly challenging myself and the people around me.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

My statue will be made of the random bits in my art room- the ephemera, the Styrofoam, the vinyl, the crepe paper, the ink and the nibs.
