| Introduction | My family often calls me; "The Soup Queen". I've been cooking soups for over forty years. That's a lot of soup! I've accumulated 365 soup recipes and now, I've decided to start this blog to share these recipes with other cooks so they can also be creative, prepare easy and healthy meals and share some love with their family and friends through soups. I learned some of the recipes from my mother who always had a pot of soup on the stove just in case someone stopped to visit her. She shared her love through these wonderful soups. I follow her tradition by making soup at least once a week. Most of the recipes however, were created by me, on a whim many years ago, at 6 o'clock in the morning while I made the coffee, the bagels, preparing the lunch menu at my Hometown Deli where I made 2 homemade soups every day for almost three years. You see this is when my creativity in the kitchen is at it's best. I love the challenge and I love to create some new recipes. Just like an artist creating his masterpieces, I create soups. come on, you too can be a "Soup Queen". It's easy. Remember "Soup is love", but cooking is therapy! |
