| Introduction | I am an artist and designer. I translate nature in artful combinations of color and floral designs for collections of romantic clothing, accessories, linens, and home décor items. Art, beauty and handcraft traditions are at the core of my style. Recognizing the unique richness of the culture and the artisan talents of India, I've owned design and manufacturing facilities in New Delhi for over 30 years. This unique model brings together teams of women in New Delhi and Burlington, Vermont who are immersed in bringing beautiful products, joy and inspiration into the lives of April Cornell customers all over the world. My passions include helping the underprivileged through The Giving World Foundation which funds many programs including schools, programs to empower women, and helps the impoverished children living in ghettos and on the streets of India. I travel the world seeking new inspirations and connections that will inspire other women, and enjoy reading, bird watching and painting along the way. |
