| Favorite music | I love all kinds of music. I am a classically trained pianist and spent the first part of my life as a relatively serious musician. Serving as a church pianist throughout high school, I played with a couple of gospel groups, and later went on to play as part of a classical duo with a violinist. I first entered college as a piano performance major. With time I was more interested in writing and academics, but music has always been a part of my life. My more recent musical interests include dulcimer and Sacred Harp. |
