About me

Introduction I am an Anglo Catholic, a rare breed in these parts, the closest US parish is 250 miles away. I am an Anglican, no longer an Episcopalian. Their choice, really. I stuck it out and fought the good fight, got my 2 cents in during the consent process for the bishop of N Michigan, and helped a little parish downstate hold the line for a couple years. But in the end, well, TEC deposed Dad's best friend, and in a way I am glad Dad wasn't here to see it, although I think it saddened him even in the arms of Christ. And they went on to depose the last active Anglo Catholic bishop a couple weeks later. Those who would falsely accuse such men of "abandoning the communion of the Church" were clearly those who had broken their own vows. Faced with the choice of who to be in communion with, well, it was a very easy choice between those I knew with a certainty were priests and bishops, and those who so clearly were not.
