Introduction Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt, friend. I'm a transplanted British Columbian who has taken a great liking to my new home (July 2008), Southern Alberta. Fortunately now that my children have grown and I work less I'm able to spend much of my time in the Rockies and foothills. When not here near the mountains and Waterton Lakes National Park I'm in the lovely city of Lethbridge. Photography is my primary hobby these days but it is supposed to be painting. Taking photos was meant to be an aid to my painting. Now it takes up the time so painting is on the back burner. Hiking, boating, touring, camping, exploring new highways, byways, trails and closely obeserving nature is what I do when I'm not occupied with household tasks and chores or gardening.

Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?

Turn it around and play a little tune instead.
