| Introduction | Four years ago I was quite fortunate to retire early. Today, most of my time is spent doing volunteer work (I worked on President Obama's election campaign most recently) and traveling for pleasure. In mid-April, I went to Belize for a SCUBA dive trip. In May, I was in Phoenix to visit friends. In early July, I spent 2 weeks visiting the SF bay area, where I have family and friends. Now I am back home (Mid-August) after going on a month long RV/road trip to Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Canada (Banf National Forest in British Columbia). While on this last trip, I had an accident and had to cut the trip short (3 weeks versus what was supposed to be a month and a half exploring Canada) - where I had surgery for a bicep rupture and rotator cuff tendon tear on September 15th and quite frankly, it doesn't look like I will be walking on my hands (yes, I was able to do that . . . at 54 years old), much less anything else for the immediate future. Nevertheless, I am a positive person and have no time for whining or whiners. |
