| Introduction | I am presently a professor at the Fore School of Management,a reputed management school. I trained as an engineer and have a MBA from the University of Illinois, U.S.A. My last corporate assignment was as Managing Director of H.P. Pelzer (India) Ltd. I have worked at senior positions with leading companies in India including Telco, Blackwood Hodge, Escorts, and Maruti Udyog Ltd. I have also published a number of papers in international journals on management and sustainable development and am the author of a number of books. My latest book, 'Extreme Turbulence - India at the Crossroads' has been published by Harper Collins in December 2007. My text books, Strategic Management – Concepts and Cases (Excel Books 2005), Production and Operations Management (Excel Books 2006, and Exploring the Supply Chain (Excel Books 2009) are used as texts in many management schools. I live in Delhi with my wife and have two sons and a daughter. |
