| Introduction | Skip and I have been retired for a few years now and love our camping. I thought perhaps there might be others who would benefit from the knowledge we have picked up about campgrounds especially in Texas. I may talk about camping in other states occasionally, but mostly I will be writing about camping in Texas. We are extremely fond of the Texas State Parks. They are almost always safe and extremely well maintained while still giving the "being one with nature" experience. I will also be sharing pictures of the beauty of Texas. | Favorite movies | Tombstone, Under The Tuscan Sun,All three of the "Boerne" movies, Somethings Gotta Give, The Family Stone, I just love movies. |
| Favorite music | Country. I like the older stuff, not too much into the new country. That sounds more pop than country. Love Il Divo (they're not country). |
| Favorite books | I love James Lee Burke.Also, I throughly enjoy most historical fiction books, especially about early English monarchs....ahh, the intrigue! |
