Introduction	I have been designing and making unique hand tufted rugs and carpets since graduating in 1988 with a first class honours degree in carpet design. Now based in a textile mill in Mirfield, located in the traditional “Heavy Woollen” district of West Yorkshire, I have established Area Rugs and Carpets as one of the leading hand tufting companies in the UK. The company has achieved a growing reputation amongst interior designers and architects for high quality design and manufacture of luxury, custom-made hand tufted rugs and carpets.
