| Introduction | I am a Christian woman who strives to make the lives of those around me better. I have been married to the love of my life for 28 years! He has been my partner and my best friend in good times and bad times. He's enjoyed me at my best and endured with me during my worst. I thank God for my "Diehard" Bruce Willis! Anyone who knows me, knows my 6 grandchildren are my passion! I would do anything for them and love to spend time lavishing them with love! I have 3 children who never leave my thoughts and are always in my heart.... Jason, Jarod and Miranda. My 2 sons are men now, but will always be "my boys." They bring me joy and pride. My daughter, Miranda left this earth at the age of 27, almost 3 years ago. Her loss has been a devastation to me and the rest of our family. She is missed every day and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her. I am so proud to say she was and will always be my daughter. |
| Interests | I have many. At the top of my list would be my family....my kids and my grandkids, my parents, sisters and their families, my extended family, my "like family" loved ones....those are my main interest. Other than that I have a love for animals and a love for decorating my home. I have a desire to be used by God to help others in their search of Him....be it a rough journey or a smooth one. I understand the rough one a little better, so I want to help people in the midst of their struggles to see God. Specifically, I want to be used in the lives of my grandchildren to encourage them to seek God so that they do not have the struggles that others have encountered when they get off course. |
| Favorite movies | Favorites to me are the ones that everytime I see them listed.....I hit that remote. There are many. Shawshank Redemption and Braveheart are tops in my book. Legends of the Fall and The Godfather are awesome movies....I guess I have some of my gangsta grandpa in me. Love, love It's a Wonderful Life, Big, Dances With Wolves and most Rocky's. Office Space ALWAYS cracks me up. My favorite musical is Camelot, followed by West Side Story. Shenandoah always makes me cry. |
| Favorite books | The Shack is an awesome book....it really ministered to me after the death of my daughter. I'm gonna have to think about that to list my other faves. |
