| Favorite Movies | 노후된 소방기기 언제까지 방치하나 "소방용 기기 내용연수 자율표시제 도입 필요하다" (메이커들이 미쳤나?, 법으로 강제로 시켜도 절대 안 할 것이다, 내가 안다... 대한 소방 공사 대표가!!!!!!!!!!!!) 최영 기자 노후 소방기기 “유사시 작동 보장 없다” ▶ 약 20여년 가까운 세월동안 방치되어 있는 유도등 © 최영 기자 ◀ 소방용기기는 법적으로 구비하거나 설치해야 하는 필수 제품이지만 우리 주변에서는 오랫동안 방치되고 있는 소방기기들을 흔히 볼 수 있다. 세상에 존재하는 모든 기계와 장치, 설비들은 사용기간이 경과함에 따라 마모나 훼손, 부식, 고장, 성능저하 등의 문제점들을 불러온다. 소방기기 역시 마찬가지다. 노후화로 인해 본래의 기능을 상실한 소방기기가 유사시 재기능을 발휘한다는 보장은 누구도 할 수 없을 것이다. 때문에 이 같은 상황을 방지하기 위해서는 교체나 수선, 정비 등의 유지관리가 철저히 시행돼야만 하고 주변환경에 따른 보다 적절하고 현실적인 교체가 주기적으로 이루어져야만 한다. 급속한 경제발전과 산업화로 건축물이 점차 대형화, 고층화 되어가는 시점에서 각종 안전시스템과 소방용기기들이 대형 화재로부터의 예방역할을 충실히 하고 있는지 생각해 볼 때다. 하지만 소방기기는 일정한 교체시기인 내용연수가 없어 수십년이 된 제품이 그대로 방치되거나 철저한 관리가 이뤄지지 않는 것이 작금의 현실이다. 화재를 조기에 감지하는 감지기나 화재 초기 진화를 위한 소화기, 유사시 피난을 유도하는 유도등 등 국민의 안전을 지키는 소방용기기의 성능저하나 작동불능의 문제를 방지하기 위한 여건 조성이 시급한 실정이다. 죽어가는 내수시장 "고갈되는 시점은 언젠가 온다" ▶ 제조년월일 조차 확인할 수 없는 소화기 © 최영 기자 ◀ 국내의 소방기기산업은 대부분 내수시장에 국한되어 있다. 건설경기가 어려워지면 소방기기 시장역시 위축되어 가는 것이 현실이다. |
