| Introduction | I am a retired English teacher who loves to read and has always encouraged others to read. I'm a wife,mother, and grandmother. My mother died a few months ago at the age of ninety-six. She was a long-time flower lover, and though she would not have used the term passalong plants,she was a true example of a giver and receiver of vintage plants. My family was first deeded land in 1820. The last bit of that land will soon be sold as commercial property. But I carry on the interest in the plants that have lived in my area for so many years. |
