Introduction	Why blog? Well, last year, following a routine physical, my dr determined that I needed an MRI of my head--just to check some kinda minor issues--but found something not so minor--a tumor nesting on the top of my right frontal lobe. The tumor is, most likely, a meningioma (about 95% are benign) and 1.5 x 1.5 cm in size. My dr thinks it best to just "wait and watch" for growth and/or changes. So now, why blog? Well, it is my desire to have an anonymous place to go where I can share my beliefs, passions, and worries. Which brings me to this: my blog is not about meningiomas, but about who I am. My fear is NOT that this will kill me--we all die--my biggest fear is that I become someone different--that my friends and family will not know me--THAT I WILL NOT KNOW ME! So I will preserve here my feelings and opinions--my passions and politics--I might need to refer back to them just to give myself a little "pinch".....
