Introduction	Traveling, cooking, and languages excite me. I would read more if I had time. I enjoy the first day I need a sweater each autumn and the first time the air smells like spring. I find great humor in signs that misuse quotation marks. I believe in earth-shaking miracles. I believe childbirth is one of those miracles. I thrill to the company of older Christian women and their wisdom. I was the captain of my college soccer team, but I prefered analyzing poetry. I now enjoy baseball because I love my husband. I'm gravitating toward non-fiction, even though I used to only read novels. I respect people who know how to turn a phrase. And like many, I love Paris in the springtime.
