Introduction	Here I am, in the beautiful and sometimes truly miserable Pacific Northwest with my wonderful husband and two adorable dogs. I have been blessed with a great, close-knit family that I love. I have degrees in both psychology and interior design, and I’m working on creating an eco-conscious design business. I’m a true believer in the ability to change myself. I am also passionate in my desire to educate people, so that they can make changes in their own lives. I love to run, exercise and hike the gorgeous trails here in the PNW (admittedly, I am also addicted to Nordstrom and formerly the MAC counter). People love to categorize one another: hippie, fashionista, granola, girly-girl Why can’t we be all of these things at once? Be a surprise, it is much more interesting. (Along those lines and 'cause it's my blog and I can say what I want to.......Word to the wise REI workers: don't write me off just 'cause I come in to buy hiking boots in a sundress and 4" espadrilles, I can probably out hike your patagonia clad ass any day of the week- and I will do it wearing lip gloss if I want to!)
