About me

Introduction	I was born in a respectable Kashmiri Pandit family to poor but hardworking parents in the year 1941 in Srinagar Kashmir. I studied upto graduation, never failed, just barely passed every time the results were declared. I applied for clerical posts, medical assistants, etc. No success anywhere. Worked as a science teacher in Private and Government Schools for about a year. Liked the job. Meanwhile, appeared in an All-India Technical Service open to Engineering, Diploma and Science graduates. Got selected and thus embarked in a career in Engineering. Having to compete with Engineering Graduates, I had to work harder and obtain an Engineering Degree through Indian Institute of Telecommunication Engineers New Delhi. During my 37 year service in Radio and Television Departments, I excelled and did better than most. I was sent on training/assignments to Germany, France, USA and UK during the course of my career. After retirement, I assisted a private company dealing with broadcast equipment with a foreign partner to develop and become a leading and trustworthy company. I have been living a retired life since last ten years. Gardening, book reading, and writing as a hobby keep me busy.
