| Introduction | A little-over-thrity communication professional, I have never lived by the book. By Indian standards, I was a disappointment to my family ... I did not complete my masters after my undergrad, worked late nights at every job, married way too late and instead of having a house, a dog and two children went back to academics and chose to do it half-way across the world. In my journey through life, I want to rid myself of any myopic views I have about the world and its people and become a true global citizen. I judge no one or nothing and don't have any yardstick that I measure things with. I do have a little bit of Liz Salander in me and want to right the world of all evils, xenophobia in particular. I welcome differences and try to understand them, not purge them from my world. |
