| Introduction | I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2003 and since then I have had six regimes of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant; a significant pulmonary embolism and two dvts, have become diabetic and had a plate inserted in each arm and a pin in my leg in February 2007. I was included in the Lenalidomide Study at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. After 6 months of no treatment I went on a chemo regime involving prednisolone, melphalan and thalidomide. I'm now off that but my paraprotein is now rising quite quickly |
